Blind Beggar

Last Thursday was world blog day (apparently) when people are encouraged to nominate five blogs they haven’t linked to before. Guess I missed it!
However, in keeping with the spirit of the thing, here is one blog that I’ve been watching for a while that I want to heartily recommend.
The Blind Beggar has at its heart a passion for intimacy with God, and a commitment to be ‘missional’ in all of life. Today there are a couple of YouTube video clips of Mark Driscoll at the Desiring God 2006 National Conference on the seeker model vs. the missional model. You have to see this. But rather than just posting the YouTube url’s or linking to the article, please could I encourage you to go take a look at The Blind Beggar for yourself – and while you’re there check out some of the other articles. Food for the soul and for the mind of anyone with a heart to be missional.

Thanks for the nomination. Your blog is a new one for me also and I’m adding it to my Bloglines for reading. May God bless and keep you strong in the faith.
