East Anglia Schools Workers Forum

The first East Anglia Schools Workers Forum is on Friday 6th January 2012 in Stowmarket. It’s based on a simple idea; that around our region there’s a lot of wisdom, experience and good practice and it would be great to be able to share it with each other.

Within the programme for the day will be three sessions, each presented as a starting point for thinking and discussion. Whether the subject is familiar, or completely new, the aim is to inspire, inform and involve everyone in the conversation.

Steve Whyatt (GenR8, Cambridge) will be getting us thinking about chaplaincy. My colleague Amy will be exploring the issue of self esteem inspired by the Beloved course she runs here in Colchester, and Simon Barker (SU) will looking at games in school as part of More Than Gold’s response to London 2012.

We’ll have plentiful supplies of tea/coffee and will also provide lunch. All this for just £15.

To register please email Catherine Burlton, catherineb@scriptureunion.org.uk and send a cheque, payable to “CYM” to: EASWF, PO Box 301 Ely CB7 9EP
